Ben van den Heever is the founder of Brooklyn Biltong and he started the company with two goals: to introduce biltong to America, and to make a difference in his neighborhood. Ben grew up in Pretoria, South Africa where he spent his childhood "hanging around" his grandfather's butcher shop. His grandfather made the best biltong in Pretoria and now Ben is on a mission to uphold his family tradition.
