Rip Van Wafel was started by Rip and Marco in their dorm room back in 2012. They were both tired of always eating the same snacks and found traditional cookies to be loaded with sugar and empty calories. So, they set out to create a better cookie; one thatʼs lower in sugar, and uniquely delicious -- a healthier take on the Dutch stroopwafel.
They started by making wafels till 3am in college and sleeping in their old Volvo station wagon as they drove across the country delivering product. Rip Van exists today to challenge the status quo in nutrition and find the next, better way to make the best snacks.
